In the lush pocket of Greenwich, Sydney, Chateau Architects + Builders had the privilege of bringing this contemporary residential home to life. This Contemporary home embodies the innovative design and superior quality that our luxury master home builder team is known for in our Sydney builds, showing off aesthetic innovation in its luxurious finishes.

Built on an 834 sqm block, this 524 sqm home incorporates five bedrooms to comfortably envelope the client’s private family of four with allowance for a guest suite. Our master home builders worked tirelessly to maximise the site’s potential, meeting the client’s brief for a spacious and contemporary home that would align powerfully with its future investment prospects.

Design inspiration for this luxury home flowed from the site’s natural surroundings and unique site characteristics, including its mature trees and overgrown greenery. An entry court was specifically designed to pay homage to the property’s beautiful turpentine tree. With a main entrance featuring a high ceiling lined by dark VJ boards, seamless luxury extended out into the portico, complemented by dark exterior and window frames.

On the house’s ground level are two main living zones, a guest suite, a study, and a kitchen with bespoke appliances and natural marble stone. The careful integration of a double-height ceiling in the main living area offers extensive views of the beautiful and mature backyard trees.

On the top level, three bedrooms take centre stage, with a bath at the front, a seating area, and a bridge leading towards the luxurious and invitational master suite. Warmth was achieved through timber flooring, veneer in bedrooms and bathroom joinery, and the continued use of natural stone to welcome the beauty of the outside in.
