When we bought the block of land and the plan was always to build a new home. We elected to use Chateau Architects + Builders after being recommended to them by a friend after going and seeing some homes that they had previously built and being impressed not only by the quality of the build but also by the experiences of the build that those owners described.
We had a very positive experience building our house with Chateau. We always felt very welcome on site; we had site meetings every week; and we were very lucky in terms of the two site managers that we had in the fact that they were outstanding. Both [site managers impressed us with] their building experience and their attention to detail.

We always imagined that building a house would be a painful and stressful experience, particularly after hearing horror stories from many of our friends who had built new homes.
Our experience with Chateau Architects + Builders couldn't be further from this perception. They were simply remarkable.
We had initially engaged another builder to design and build our home. Before signing we thought we would speak with Rod at Chateau to see what might be possible. We were blown away at the quality of Rod's design which was far superior to the other builder's design, and included everything we wanted in the home. The decision then became easy for us.
Post design, the build phase was just as impressive. Alex had a very granular understanding of the build requirements and executed flawlessly. All of the trade partners were highly professional and collaborative with us. We made many changes during the process and the team worked tirelessly to accommodate our wishes (special thanks to Lois for her patience during our endless calls and emails).
The team at Chateau were highly responsive, professional and deeply understood our needs from start to finish. If you are ever contemplating a new home that stands head and shoulders above the average build, look no further than Chateau. They exceeded our expectations and we are delighted with our new home.

I was very happy with the Site Supervisor, he did not start the project from the beginning, however was able to complete the job without delays, I have heard of his reputation, he was highly respected, considered important in the industry and lived up to these comments.
