Located at the end of a long battle axe driveway, Turramurra Resort Style House is a true masterpiece that gracefully combines luxury and tranquility for elevated living.

This contemporary-styled custom home was completed in 2015. With an existing tennis court that was remaining on the site, we had a unique architectural challenge to navigate in bringing this new build to life.

Our clients were professionals with high-pressure occupations who sought a resort-style haven to unwind in after a demanding work week. Our industry-leading architects embraced the brief, creating a residence that not only embodies relaxation, but also uniquely blends functionality and style to meet the demands of our clients’ lifestyles.

The window-clad entrance makes a striking first impression as it allows sweeping views of the living space ahead. Luxury continues in the open-plan kitchen, where a double dishwasher/double oven lend themselves to easy entertaining. Designed for convenience, the homeowners are able to enjoy sophisticated gatherings with effortless practicality.

Open plan living is at its best across welcoming living rooms and dining spaces, truly embodying a sense of resort luxury within an everyday residential environment. The large outdoor deck continues to embrace this theme, creating the perfect place for weekend brunches, late-night wines and long family lunches.

The tennis court stands as an iconic feature of the property, while directly contributing to the resort-style aesthetic. By integrating this recreational area into the overall design of the home, Chateau were able to demonstrate innovation in working with existing structures while delivering entirely on their clients’ visions. Resort living at its best, this home encapsulates contemporary living with enhanced everyday living capabilities. 

Our work in bringing this sprawling luxury home to life was recognised when Turramurra Resort Style House placed as a finalist in the NSW Master Builders Association Awards - Best Custom Built Home in 2013.
