In any professional field, being recognised by the top industry associations is the ultimate public validation of the quality of your work. Our mission at Chateau is to provide the best possible design and build experience for the best possible value. This has been our absolute focus since we began in the 1970’s and we have never wavered from this. So, to be recognised, almost every year for the past 10 years, by the most highly regarded industry associations is a source of great pride. We know that what we provide our clients is second to none, but having our professional organisations recognise is extremely rewarding.
This year we at Chateau are absolutely thrilled to have been nominated for a range of awards from both of the major industry associations: the HIA (Housing Industry Association) and the MBA, (Master Builders Association).
Each of these professional bodies establishes the highest possible criteria in a range of categories. Chateau Architects and Builders has been nominated for multiple awards by both of these associations.
These awards 'identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the housing industry, representing the finest tradespeople and their businesses throughout Australia.'
Chateau entered four homes, and three were chosen by the HIA as finalists for the award evening.
Chateau nominated three homes in the category: Best Custom Build House $2.0-$2.5 million.
Glenhaven House
Beecroft House
Greenwich House
The criteria for this category are:
The awards were presented recently at a glittering black tie event held at the ICC in Darling Harbour. This event was attended by thousands of people from the building and design industry across Australia. It is one of the most prestigious awards events as it represents the building and construction industry Australia- wide. The quality of the nominated projects must exhibit the highest degree of quality and skill; they must be exceptional in their particular category.
Therefore, we are enormously proud to announce that Chateau Architects and Builders are the winners in the category:
Best Custom Build House $2.0-2.5m for the Beecroft House.
Visit this gorgeous home to see exactly why it won this very prestigious and well- deserved award.
These awards ‘celebrate outstanding achievements by companies and individuals in the NSW building and construction industry.’
All entrants must show excellence in the following areas:
This year Chateau Architects and Builders submitted four entries:
Design & Construct - House: $1.2 Million - $1.6 Million
Design & Construct - House: $3 Million - $3.5 Million
Contract Houses: $2 Million - $2.4 Million
Contract Houses: $2.6 Million - $2.7 Million
The 2022 MBA awards will be presented on November 11th at Rosehill Gardens. We at Chateau are incredibly excited at the possibility of winning one of these major prizes.
The MBA awards are highly competitive and widely respected throughout the NSW building and construction industry. Last year, Channel 7 broadcast the awards event.
This was so successful that this year the MBA has produced a 4 part TV series named ‘Master Build: The Real World of Building and Renovating.’ Master Build will air nationally at 11a.m. each Sunday from October 23 on 7Two and it will also stream on 7+. The series will focus on some of this year’s nominated projects.
The Northbridge Home nominated by Chateau will feature in this series. The fifth episode on November 20 at 11a.m. will cover the 2023 Excellence in Housing and Pool Awards ceremony.
Receiving nominations and awards creates a huge sense of excitement. They are the rewards for going above and beyond in every way. The prestige and the recognition are certainly very welcome. But what is more important to us is that the superior quality of our work, the work of each member of the Chateau Architects and Builders team, is being highlighted and endorsed for our clients and anyone who is considering commissioning a design and build project.
Wish us luck as we await the MBA Awards ceremony on November 11th. We’ll be sure to let you know how we went!
