Mosman Luxury Home Build Inside the interior

28 April 2015

Inside the interior – Mosman Luxury Home Build

Here’s our monthly check-in on our beautiful, custom build luxury home in Mosman. Last month, we were hard at work on the exterior of the home, cladding the exterior to waterproof the home.

Now that we can say with certainty that the home is ‘water tight’, we’re turning the emphasis inside – which is always a lot of fun. This is the time where the client’s own unique vision for the home, and styling really begins to take place.

The focus over the last few weeks has really been on these integral aspects: electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, audio/visual cabling as well as all of the drainage of the bathrooms.

Getting things ‘just right’ begs the work of skilled professionals including Marcello from Avere Joinery and Louise from OneFour Interiors who are esteemed affiliates of Chateau – working together we become part of a bigger team – translating the wishes and wishes of our client.

Working together on-site means that we get to assess how each work adds to the whole, and make and adjust changes accordingly. We have a solid, great working relationship with all of our trades too including our Electrician Scott, and Plumber, Anthony.

Let’s take a closer look..

Did we mention the home has a lift? The image below shows the lift shaft where we utilised it to take services and drainage.

You can see the fabulous feature and curved ceiling, all insulated and ready to go with the gyprock.

More great work, gas fireplace installed, with timber framing to take future joinery and stone shelf and wall-hung hearth.

Finally we see the upstairs internal air-conditioning units, separate for each room, bedrooms in this case; a lower ceiling will also be constructed to conceal the units.
